I am trying to recover some Notes that contain useful info from my
Outlook 2002 on another system. I backed up the archive.pst file and
tried to import it but got only email- no notes.

Anyone know what file contains the notes?

I also have the original hard drive and can access those files if I
have to.

Thanks!

Try opening the file rather than importing.

You needed to select the export subfolders checkbox from
the original export of the mailbox.

Click the Outlook Today Folder, run the export again
(to .pst) being sure to check the "Allow Subfolders" check
box and export it again. The whole mailbox will export to
a .pst file.
