Recovering MS Image Composer

Can someone give me advice as to how to recover this program from a
faulty drive? I cannot get it to execute by clicking on the icon. The
drive where it's located used to be my main drive but the system went
south so I had to install a new hard drive with the system on it. Now
the old drive is a slave. I can see the data files and the program but
I cannot execute it.

I cannot reinstall it because I don't have the original disk (FP2000)
it came in. I have not been able to find it online for purchase
either. I don't want to buy FP2000 because I'm using FP2003. Any
advice?

You cannot launch an application on an operating system (OS) that it has not
been installed on. If you owned two houses and bought a couch for one house
that couch does not magically appear in both houses for your convience.

If you properly owned FP 2000/03 then you should have some documents proving
so, allowing you to contact Microsoft to recover it?
