Recovering files

Today I had to reinstall my operating system. I thought
that I had saved my documents on a zipdisk, but it
appears that I only saved the shortcut. Is there any way
to recover the data?

Probably only by Expensive Experts. Go to www.drivesavers.com and have
them do it. They are expensive, but if the data is important, they are
worth it. If you think you want to go this route, be sure not to do
*anything* else on the affected machine.
