recovering file on a student network

my college is running on Novel v4.90.0.0 SP1a for a student network
each time we log off, the computer make a cleanup of all directory, by reloading the base configuratio

i had many Microsoft Word file on the Bureau and my station rebooted without advertisin

do i have a way to recover them

You will need to contact the college network administrator for help with
this. There is no way we can determine how that network is configured.
