recovering an unsaved file

How do i recover a PowerPoint File if it was not saved and the computer shut
down due to automatic update? I did not have AutoRecover specified.

Only chance is to search for ppt*.tmp. Not much hope though.

Tried it John and could not find anything. I did see the NTUSER.DAT file and
am wondering if it may be there?

Turn on autorecovery for the future! There's also an excellent sequential
save add in
