I set up two separate calendars and somehow I ended with duplicates. I
deleted the ones I thought were the duplicates, but when I opened the ones I
kept I notice several appointments missing. Can I recover the deleted ones?
and how?

Hi Oli,

if you use a PST file (and the folder is not in your deleted items folder)
it is definitly deleted and you can not recover it. (Only if you have made a
backup copy of the PST file).

If you use an Exchange Server, ask your Admin. Normally he made abackup of
your Exchange Server and he can normally recover this folder.

and how? In an attempt to export my calendar information to my laptop. I copied the files to a cdr. but I have not been able to open the files from the cd. So as you can see I have more than one problem. You mention hotsync between computers how do I do that?

Dear Oli,

....but I have not been able to open the files from the cd.

You can not open a PSt file from a CD. You must copy the PST file on the
harddis, click on the PSt file /right mouseclick" and disable the flag for
the write protection.

Now open Outlook and then you normaly can open the PST file.

I do not mention "hotsync". Could we solve one problem after the next?
I am not capable of multi tasking ;-)

If you can connect the PST file on the harddiskt, do NOT import the
calendar.

Open the "old" PST file in Outlook (File/Open/Personal Folder (PST). Click
on the old "Calendar" => change the "View" to "Categories", select one
calendar item => "Ctrl + A" and now you can move all calendar items into the
new calendar. with your mouse.
