System internal creation of recover file fragments

as found.000, 001, 002 etc.

What would cause this problem and how to resolve

Hello Byron,
The file fragments can be caused by someone turning off the computer before
shutting down or by a power failure.
Check the system event log for disk or power problems such as "unexpected
shutdown".
