recover mouse without shuting down server

I tried to recabling my servers. All server mouse and keyboards are connect
to a switch. After I finished cabling I realized that the mouse that connect
to switch for all servers did not work. It worked OK before that. I checked
evrything and see there is no problem with connection. The keyboards are ok.
Anyone have an idea to why it does not work. Anyway to recover the mouse
without restart server because I do not want to restart server during working
hours. thanks.

Unplugging PS2 K/Bs and or mice whilst the machine is powered up
is not recommended, maybe you have blown the interfaces, if
it's all USB then you are OK.
Bite the bullet and restart the server, hope for the best...
