Recover Deleted Items to Archive Folders

I neglected to start an Archive Folder since starting a
new job. I have discovered that all the deleted e-mails,
meeting requests, tasks, and such are in the permanently
deleted folder somewhere in Microsoft Exchange. I
restored a number of them and then ran auto-archive but
it didn't seem to moved them into the archive folders.
Is there a way to restore all of those items and get them
into the auto-archive folders.
 
When you restored them it likely altered the items'
modified date to the current date, making the items'
ineligible for archive based on the 'older than' timeframe
you'd set or are working with.
