Recover A Partition

Just got a second Hard Drive and trying to set up the
RAID feature of my controller. When creating a Stripped
set, the controller deleted the partition table off of my
existing drive. I was not expecting that and was not
warned by the system. Consequently, the partition was
deleted. I need to recover the old partition as it
contains lots of data that was not backed up. For the
life of my, I cannot seem to find a feature or function
that will recognise and recover that lost partition
information. What do I do to recover this partition?

Also look for a great freeware program called BootMaster
(filerecovery.bootmaster.biz if I'm not mistaken)

I purchased GetDataBack (US$69, http://www.runtime.org/) to recover my
files after Pinnacle Studio 8 crashed my drive. Worked well enough for me.
