How can I record, either to a hard drive or to a CD, a streaming audio
program that I am listening to?

Win XP, Real Player, Windows Media Player, Roxio Easy CD Creator.

I use RealOne ver 2 -- You set up system mixer for record sources and
select "stereo mix" if available. In realOne select 'record from line or
mic' and at top of dialog select the source of "system mixer". Also select
where you want to record files to in the 'preference' setup. While there set
up any other settings, such as 'bit density(aka quality) under CD.
If the recorder does not work , you can try a sample 1 month superpass,
making sure to cancel it before the sample period expires. This gives you
access to advanced features not included in the basic setup.
