.
The Music Match Jukebox..version 8 allows you to do
that!! I am having problems getting my mic to work..I plug
my cassette player into themic jack and I can't hear a
thing..looks like it is recording..but don't get a
sound...sooo aggrivating..is my mic jack enabled? If not
how do I do it? any help???

You mic might be muted. Double click the volume control in the lower right
corner of your screen (in the systray). Then click
Options/Properties/Recording and click OK. Make sure there isn't a check at
the bottom of the "Mic" panel..

http://www.goldwave.com will do the job nicely and you can filter out tape
hiss, rumble and normalise the sound.

Cheers,

In the volume control for Recording, a check in a box ENABLES a device. It
mutes a device in the audio output volume control.
