Recording cassette music

I would like to take some of the music I purchased on
cassette tapes and LP records and transfer them into the
computer so I can burn them to a CD. Is this possible?
Do I need any special equipment to enable me to do this
task?

records,converts and copys to your hard drive any analog
source input hooked up to your PCs soundcard. The
instructions included with the program should get going.
