First time using MM@ ..
I created a movie in MM2, and when I try to save to CD, I get the Error Message: Recordable CD drive not detected. I looked through help, and it says to end the imapi.exe process. However, this process is not listed in Task Manager. I have a Win XP Home computer, 900 mh, 328mb ram. I am the only user, and therefore have admin rights. I have a Memorex CD-RW, 52-24-52, and use it to back up data on a weekly basis, as well as record music -- so I know the drive exists and is functional. The system uses Nero In-CD and the task manager shows InCD.exe and incdsrv.exe as services running. I don't know if I need to disable those. I also have a Kodak digital camera, and the EasyShare software is running in the background.
Unfortunately, my son has a school project due Friday -- He created the movie, but we have no way to burn it to a CD to present in class on the DVD player!! We created a movie on the computer in .wmv format, but I don't think that will play on a DVD player. Any help -- and fast! -- would be greatly appreciated
