Record a macro using XP

Hello,

Is there an application within XP that will allow recording/capturing motion
from screen and pasting the data into a different application like Excel or
any ERP platform like SAP/Oracle.

I am trying to copy data from an Excel and paste it in different fields
within the other application.

In older version of Windows (probably 98 or earlier) there was a tool "Macro
Recorder" with which I could capture/copy data from one source and paste it
into another source.

Any pointers in this direction will greatly help reduce the time I spend on
this activity.
