Something unusual to report and ask for comments on.
This evening I went to the WinMx site. Just as I did so I remembered a saved
message on my phone and picked it up. As I am not on broadband the phone
natuarally enough let me know I was online with its normal noises. The
online connection ended, and the Network Connections panel appeared.
"Load to virgin 24-7 failed. Reconnect pending." The countdown began and
took me back online.
I checked it out again - the same thing happened with Winmx 3 times - but
not with any other sites as far as I could see. Normally if a telephone is
picked up the connection to the internet stays on in my experience
I have not knowingly set up any automatic redial so what is happening here?
Any comments anyone.
I run XP Home and Int.Ex v6.
