recommendation? "Powered by" or "Built by"?

I'm looking into buying a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro... my question is; what would
you recommend for this model... Gigabyte, Sapphire, Power Color, Crucial??
Or just ATI?

Pricewatch has a Sapphire model with 256 MB RAM from $98 to $107.
Then they have Power Color models with 256 MB RAM going for $142-179.

I'm mainly getting this for the TV-Out and i'm trying to stay around 100
bucks or so... but if the quality is an issue, I'll go higher than that...

Some model 9600s (like the SE) cards come with narrow memory pathways, 128
vs. 64 bit.
That could be why the big price difference.

Double check the card(s) spec's at the manufacture's website

get the "sapphire radeon 9600xt @ 128mb" - the best bang for the buck

If you exclude newer games I would be still be using my first ATI AIW 128-rage
16 meg video card.

But almost everyone I read posting here seems to think spending the big $$$ on a
video card every year is a good thing.
