Recommend Hard Disk Drive ?

need much more space. would appreciate your ideas about which to buy.
probably my mobo would not accommodate SATA, or would sata work almost
anywhere?

acquire a hard drive from
the same maker that you have
now, just bigger and faster.

the one you have now is proven
to be compatible to your configuration.

most all mobo's allow for a slave drive,
eg secondary harddrive. but not all
allow for sata drives.

so if you are stuck minded on getting
a sata, check your mobo's website or
manual and see what are your options...

By far western digital makes the best pc user IDE drives,and for SATA,a SATA/
RAID controller that plugs into a PCI slot will only run 50.00 or
less,usually 30.00.
Seagate & western digital have the best in SATA.
