Reclock Properties

I just recently been getting a pop up window called "Reclock Properties" and
I also get a little Red Clock on my taskbar while using the Media player. Can
anyone tell me what this is and how to get rid of it? Could this be related
to a Codoc file I downloaded?

A quick Google for "Reclock" shows that it is a Direct Show filter and
you did get it when you downloaded the codec. The links that the Google
search produced will describe its use:

Thanks for your reply. Does it have any harmful effects like a spyware or
virus? It was the little Red Clock on my taskbar that was giving me concern.

I can't answer your question about whether Reclock is harmless. I
suggest you scan it with your antivirus and antimalware programs since
you already have it installed. Read the information at the Google
search links I gave you.
