If I e-mail a Word attachment (I have Word '03 and use OE for e-mail), the
people on the other end can't open it. Even *I* can't open it when I try
sending to myself. I saw the help in the Office category for this issue, but
it didn't work and was for Outlook, not OE. When I try to open it, it pops up
with an error message that says there isn't sufficient memory or I should try
Document Recovery.

I have tried saving as an RTF but when I do that, I get this message: >>This
page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them.<< I'm not using the
browser, just saving in Word as an RTF and then trying to reopen the file.

The computer is less than a month old, so is the software, so I have no idea
what the issue is. Plus, my page view isn't retained. I put it in print
layout, close the file, reopen and it's in a different view (I did de-select
"Allow Starting in Reading View").

Is it the software? I have NEVER had problems like this with Word.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?U2hpcmxleQ==?=,

Word documents can be damaged when sending by email. Best practice is to ZIP
them up before attaching them.

If you suspect this particular document may be slightly damaged (sounds as if
that's the case), then try saving it to XML file format, close, re-open and save
again as a Word document. That will often get rid of little glitches that could
turn into big glitches.
