Recieving Errors

I can SEND mail, but then I get an error upon RECEIVE.
Does anyone know what to do about this?:
"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.
Possible causes for this include server problems, network
problems, or a long period of inactivity.
Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'mail.comcast.net',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number:
0x800CCC0F"
 
Do you have any anti-virus software installed to check your incoming mail?
Some such software can cause this problem. If you do have A/V software, see
if there's an update that might correct this.
