recently used files

I have just re-installed Office 2003 and have lost
the "most recently used files" option which is greyed out
in both Word and Excel.
Microsoft Online Help isn't (any help, that is).
 
Hi, rawclark. In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | check the
"Recently used file list" box. If that option is grayed out, then could
it be that you have installed TweakUI and it is suppressing the MRU
list?
