Is there a way to increase the number of "recent documents" shown in the
recent documents list (Start>Recent Documents)

Thanks. I tried it, then opened several documents, and it still stayed at
15....... is there a trick to it.....

Not that I'm aware of. It's a reg file with the following contents shown
below:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"MaxRecentDocs"=dword:00000019

You can check the above registry key/subkey using regedit
Report back what you find.

Sorry to report this was no help for me either, and after rebooting the My
Recent Docs folder was empty and had to be re-populated.
Looked for other solutions but could not find any.

When I checked the registry, mine shows "MaxRecentDocs"=dword:00000019 (25)
.. Still doesn't work, so maybe the power tip was wrong. Maybe someone else
has a solution.
