I occaisionally get back mail as undeliverable when I have
not sent any email to the address referenced. I am using
Outlook 2K and Outlook Express. These names are not in my
address file either. I am worried as I am on broadband
and connected all the time. CAn some one other than me
send mail in my name?

Yes, spammers do forge real email addresses occasionally. Undeliverable
emails contain the orginal I.P. number some of the time. If you do find one
that does contain this, you can find out where the email came from.

Example:
The original message was received at Sat, 31 Jan 2004 14:05:13 -0500 (EST)
from via4-203.hem.blixtvik.se [213.132.101.203]

You can then go to http://www.samspade.org and put the I.P. number in the
"Do Stuff" slot to find out its origin. This site is a bit slow due to high
bandwidth.

Nah, they forge that too!
