receiving fax

I can send faxes from my computer through the Windows XP fax program but I can't receive them. When a fax attempts to come through, the computer will recognize it's a fax and will answer the call, but after about 30 seconds, I will get an error message saying that a fax failed. I have already set all the configure settings. HELPPPP

I keep getting the same thing too! I tried re-installing Fax but no
change.
 
Are you sure that it is a fax coming in?

Fax XP will assume that *any* call received is a fax - ie the message
you got will occur on voice calls.
