Receiving emails

Problem receiving msgs. automatically. I need to press send/receive in order
to obtain my mail. I just upgraded to Outlook (Standard)2003. Did not have
problem with my old version.
 
tools, options, mail settings, send/receive button - make sure it's set to
check
every xx min.
