Receiving 6 identical emails

If I receive 6 identical emails to my inbox, is this the sender or receiving
computer's problem? What is the probable cause?. I am protected by Mcafee,
and do regular anti-spyware scans.

I unplugged computer when I went on vacation for a week, and now I have new
behaviors.
 
Is it every email? Perhaps the sender didn't know you were away and
repeated the send 5 times.
