I have a Windows 2000 Server (Master) running, DNS, SQL,
DHCP, Active Directory (Global Catalog) and so on. I have
another server running Exchange 2000 (trusted). Over the
past few months I have had an increasing number of issues
with the "Master" server including missing or corrupt dll
files causing the SQL Service errors, Windows Update
errors and other problems. I have decided to just
reinstall Windows 2000 and the other services. I have
never attempted this before and I wanted to know if there
is any issues that that I should be aware of before I
attempt this. Has anyone ever gone to these extremes
before? Is there a tutorial available for this process?

Assistance would be appreciated.

Your best bet is to attend a Windows 2000 Server training
course. I have a couple of fat books (1000+ pages) on the
subject but I use them only as reference volumes - they
don't teach me what I need to know when setting up a server.
Doing a MSCE would be a good starting point - check out
your local computer training organisation.
