I´m in process of preparing an image of clean installation of windows with
all my games and programs, and would like to get some advice on the practice
of rebooting after installation of programs, as it could help me speed up the
preparation.

My question is:

1. Some software don´t require reboot after installation, so it is probably
save to go on to the next installation, right?

2. But what of installations of games wich don´t reqiure rebooting, can it
also be save to move on to the next installation?

While it is certainly true that not all program installations in XP require
a reboot, it's a good practice nonetheless. If I was making a clean image as
you are doing -- which, by the way, is an excellent idea -- I would be extra
cautious, meaning that with every installation I would reboot and clear the
Temp folder before starting the next installation.

Thanks, I thought so too!
