i wanted to know how to reboot my computer to its original settings just as
it was when i bought it, i want to get rid of everything on my computer and
start over again.

reboot means to restart the computer, you mean format and restore to factory
settings.

To do this you will need your restore disc that came with your computer, put
it in your drive, restart the computer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Some machines do not come with a restore disc, you may find your computer
has a hidden partition instead, check the programs list in the start menu for
a program that sounds or looks familiar to restore.

You could also visit your computers manufacturer website and download the
manual for your computer, it will give you instructions on how to restore
your computer back to factory settings.

Hope that helps ?

if you have a system restore cd or partition use that...
otherwise...if you have an XP cd just boot with it
and preform a clean install

Depends on what came with your system. Check the documentation or check
with the system's tech support. Either it's a recovery CD, a hidden
partition on the hard drive with an image of the drive as received from
the factory which you restore following the specific instructions for
your system, or an installation CD with which you do a clean install.
If the last see this link:
