Hello. I have searched the web a good many times, as well as read alot
of what is here and on other forums. I have also checked out a bunch of
the shutdown/reboot guides for XP and still havent found a working
solution to my problem. When I am using XP Pro, when I try to reboot,
it shutsdown just fine, but then hangs at a blank screen indefinitley.
Has anyone a solution to this problem? I cant figure it out short of
reloading xp onto this machine. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!!!

Well so much for replies...turned out to be a stick of memory that is
either bad or just not likable in my system configuration.

To all those having problems just rebooting from windows or anything
else, reseat your ram, and if that doesnt work try with other sticks of
ram, or one at a time, etc.
