I've tried too install Vista on a Second SATA Hard Disk i have bought just
for that purpose...
Every thing was OK...
I Booted My system one time on my XP configuration on disk "C"
One Time on Vista configuration on Disk "Z".
The second time I booted vista, the system informed me that "C" had some
problems and I had to run CHKDK...
Then the vista system began to "fix" all my allocation and index tables
!!!!!!!
and finally I losted all my disk "C", Datas and System (XP one).
My first XP system alwalys try to ran CHKDSK without any success
New Vista configuration succeded to start after a long time fixing My "C"
Problems" without resolving anything...
Under Vista My disk "C" was good to format
Is this kind of problem already arrived
Is it normal ? that is to say : are Vista and XP unable to share the same PC
even on Different hard drive...
Is there someone overthere ????
Finally I ve erased Vista Partition
I ve Installed an other XP on "Z" Drive
Fortunaltly The good old XP recognized the old XP partition, ran CHKDSK and
Fix 95% of my disk...
I've recovered my datas but lost my first system and the whole
configuration...
It could have been worse
It could have been without any problem too !!!!!!!
thank you for your advices
