Realtek 8139/810x fast family NIC

I am having trouble with my ethernet connection. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled the device and i says 'software is installed and might not be
working properly'. I have update drivers and still nothing works. Can anyone
offer any help. I'm running windows xp on a presario 2267ap laptop, the
ethernet is connected directly to the mother board.

You HAVE read the reply to your previous post?
If you can't find it, then ditch the horrible web interface and use a news
reader instead.
