Hi, I've never encountered this before and I sure hope
someone can help out. I've compared my other machines
working properly and can't spot the difference.
What's happening is this.. I've got a W2K Pro machine
(fully updated, patched, and virus free with Trend Micro)
that suddenly (well maybe not, I'm not sure how long it's
been this way) won't execute .BAT batch files. It says
theres no file associated with this extention.
For other extentions it's easy to pick an application
(for .MP3's or .WAV or whatever) but what do I create an
association to for .BAT? Also, on my other W2K machine
(also fully patched and updated and virus free) it'll
run .BAT files fine but there's no association listed in
the Tools-Folder Options-File Types area..
What am I missing here? Help! Thanks!!
