Really slow page loading

I'm having trouble with both Netscape and Explorer. The pages take FOREVER to load -- worse than a dial up connection and I have cable! This happened all of a sudden but no virus is detected on my pc. Any ideas what I can do? I literally have to walk away from the PC to wait for a page to load because it takes so long.
 
Start by downloading Adaware and / or update Reference file from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
and use it to remove parasites.

What processor speed? How much RAM memory?

How good is your housekeeping?

1. In Outlook Express empty your Deleted Items folder.

2. In Outlook Express run File, Folder, Compact All whilst OFFLINE.

3. Run Disk Cleanup. Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup.

4. Run Disk Defragmenter.
