Has anyone been successful using the ReadyOn technology from Venturcom? I
have received the ver 1.0 toolkit, but I have not been able to get this to
work!

Thanks in advance,

Brad,

We are using version 1.0.. Our trouble is that we add this to the target
design, all appears ok.. We progress thru FBA, and the automatic driver
installation occurs at the end with no apparent troubles.. But..

We always receive a yellow alert on the task bar and a message box saying:

"Windows Fatal Application Exit: ReadyOn Copyright.. Blah.. Blah.. Barff."

I have followed the instructions in the release notes, but nothing I seem to
do works.

I was just hoping someone else in the world had this working and could show
me the error of my ways!

Thanks in advance.

Also keep in the mind that the evaluation version will display this in the
task bar. A final licensed copy will not.

Are you using the evaluation version?

Brad,

We are using the eval version. But that real trouble is that I am not able
to create an image as directed in the doc.

From the ReadyOn app, I flush the cache, and then click Image button. I
receive:

"ReadyOn Unable to Create Image File" or something to this effect...

I will start from scratch and retrace my steps..

Thanks for the time,

Hi Chris,

I've been using ReadyOn v1.0 successfully.
we've been testing the product a few month ago and it worked great.
make sure you enabled the Hibernate feature and check you dependency check.
I can't recall anything special about my configuration besides what's
written in the release notes.
if you want, I can send you the SLX file to compare.

good luck,
