I've recently burnt a couple of UDF DVDs using Nero 6 & a USB mounted
Pioneer 107 drive. Every time I try to open the DVD I get the message "G:\
is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable". It
doesn't matter whether I place the disc in my writer or IDE connected
DVD-ROM drive.
If I put the same disc into my laptop it reads it fine. Both machines are
running XP Pro with SP1 with Windows Update. I located UDFS.SYS on both
machines and confirmed they're identical (by MD5 hash). I even tried
loading RC1 of SP2 onto the desktop to see if that made any difference, but
no luck!
Can anyone give me any pointers?
Cheers,
Chris
