Hi all,
I'm using Robocopy to compare two fileshares. I'm looking at the log, and
i'm not quite sure how to read it. For example:
*EXTRA Dir -1 \\QTVUD01\util\LoginScr\Scripts\Hotfixes\Bin\kb867801\
*EXTRA File 2.1 m IE5.01sp2-W2ksp2.exe
*EXTRA File 2.1 m IE5.01sp3-W2ksp3.exe
*EXTRA File 2.1 m IE5.01sp4-W2ksp4.exe
*EXTRA File 2.3 m IE5.5sp2.exe
*EXTRA File 2.9 m IE6.0.exe
*EXTRA File 2.7 m IE6.0sp1.exe
*EXTRA File 1.4 m KB824146-XP.exe
*EXTRA File 365664 KB828035-XP.exe
*EXTRA File 2.5 m KB835732-XP.EXE
*EXTRA File 902888 KB841873-XP.exe
New File 1.0 m KB811630-2K.exe
New File 752944 KB811630-NT.EXE
New File 395512 KB832359-2K.exe
What I am having trouble with, is that how can there be "New files" in a
directory that doesn't actually exist?
Also only the first six Extra files are in the directory specified; the
other Extra and New files are located in the directory below,
\\QTVUD01\util\LoginScr\Scripts\Hotfixes\Bin\ however I'm not sure how I can
read this from this report.
Could someone explain this to me?
Many thanks,
Regards,
Daniel
