Is it possible to use windows mail to read newsgroups?

If so, how can I access public Vista NGs ?
I ask this because even by using Outlook express, from news server of my
provider, I can not see them (and I wonder how to work it out).

It's possible your ISP's news server doesn't support Microsoft public
groups. Set up an additional news account direct to the Microsoft public
news server.

In WM, Tools->Accounts->Add...

Add a news account with the server as: msnews.microsoft.com

No logon required. After downloading the groups, search on vista, and you
see a list of public Vista groups you can join.

Yes. If you have a Microsoft Communities folder, it's already partly
set up. If so, click on Microsoft Communities, then Tools, then
Newsgroups, and you should get the list of newsgroups. If you
already know part of the name of the one you want, type it in the
box at the top and the names that don't match should disappear
from the list. When you find the one you want, click on it and
then Subscribe.

If you don't have such a folder, someone else will have to tell you
how to set it up. Note that this will add a second newsgroup
account.

Getting the newsgroups directly from Microsoft will screen out
many of the people who crosspost to newsgroups meant for
people who prefer other operating systems (not from Microsoft).

Thank you so very much, for helping. Now I'm fine with WM, finally!

About what I wrote about my ISP:
it does support all the XP MS public NGs, that's why I wondered why I
couldn't see any of Vista public NGs in the list.
But now I should be able to work it out, again thx alot.
