I recently downloaded the Windows XP Service Express Pack
for the protection it is supposed to give against the new
worm out there. I went to my E-Mail this AM and people
who I know are forwarding stuff (jokes, etc) in the form
of attachments. I can see the attachments as grayed out
lines which I can not access. What do I do now? Unload
the Update I just installed so I can get my E-Mails the
way I used to?

Jerry,
This is a security setting with the mail program, you can turn this off but
please be careful when opening attachments. For instance, if you use Outlook
Express, go to Tools | Options | Security and uncheck the box for "Do not
allow attachments to be saved or opened....".

Be careful opening attachments since that is the easiest way to spread a
virus.

Good luck!
