I have a CD-R which seems to just read and read in Vista - it doesn't
seem to fully load, and therefore cannot be read.

The other day, I was in a library and put the CD-R in the drive of one
of their pc's. It read perfectly. I was a little surprised bceause the
OS was XP, an older OS, and an older drive.

Is this understandable?

I can't remember how I made the disk now, ie, what programme I used
(Adaptec ???). The files are mp3's.

Thanks

Forgot to mention.

My CD drive plays music CD's without difficulty, and has read the DVD
OS disk.

update.

Disks seem to be read if there is an autorun file on the CD, but if it
is pure data the drive seems to have difficulty. Is it possible to
read a data CD. If so, which is the best method.
