reading CD of files from MAC computer

A friend gave me a CD with some WORD and ADOBE files but he has a MACintosh
(poor guy). Is there any way whatsoever that I can access the files on this
CD rom??
 
As long as the files are saved in a format that Windows can view, you
can access them (ie, you will need Word and Adobe Acrobat)
