Dear Sirs
I copyed my Access DB onto a disk. If I would like to open the DB on another
computer I get the message that the DB is for "read only".
How can I save my dB on a disk and can work with it, if I load it on another
computer?

If you transferred it via a CD look for the file through "My Computer",
right click on it, click properties, and uncheck "read only".

CD's by nature are read only. You need to copy the file from the CD to
your hard drive and make sure the file properties are not set to read only.
