Read-only Files

How do I undo "read-only" properties? I have tried in
Windows Explorer, right-clicked file, unticked "read-
only", selected "apply" and "ok". When I return to the
file in question it's still marked as "read-only". I
loaded some photos onto a RW CD then realised I had
copied a few photos. I now want to delete the copies but
it won't let me. Help! Thanks

ROM = Read Only Memory. You won't be able to delete the files unless you
formatted the CD to drag and drop format.
