When do you get the read disk error? which drive? Download the drive
diagnostic utility from the drive manaufacturer, run it and see what it
says. Run chkdsk via computer management.
What was the purpose for the reinstall? Please explain any issues if any in detail you were having before the reinstall.

You prolly reinstalled because you were getting errors and/or hadn't
marked any bad sectors bad. There is still time to fix your problem.
Note tho that your HDD may be failing.
