Reaching Max

I have a spreadsheet that is tracking vacation time.
It looks something like this
A B C D E
1 5 6 7 8 9

A1: 5
B1: 1+A1

Is there a formula that i can use that once it has reached a maximum amount,
lets say ten, it will stop counting?

=IF(OR(A1=10,A1=""),"",A1+1) and copy across.
