Hi Peter,

I didn't. Besides, WMP upgrades are uninstallable, you can only revert by
using a restore point.

Thanks. I actually had it installed before but I had a PC crash and had to
format my HD and reinstall everything. Just checked this as I want to do
everything by the book from now on. ;-)

No that is not so..............
I installed WMP10 and uninstalled it from add/remove.
There was an entry in the add or remove list for WMP10.
Just proved it is so by re installing and un installing it all over again
and it reverts back to whatever version you had before.
If I can do this on my pc then how come?

I just woke up OK???? Now after several cups of Java I am thinking again.

Should I uninstall WMP9 first?

LOL!

Why would you, and you cannot anyway, you idiot!

Hi,

Don't know where you are seeing that, as I don't and haven't seen it on any
installation I've worked on. If you are referring to the entry under Windows
Components, that only removes the references to it on the desktop and in the
start menu, it does not fully remove the program.

Hi Peter,

You're correct. I did have that turned off, enabling it does show WMP10's
uninstall option.
