If there are no network devices (Ethernet adapaters), try adding the
Device - Microsoft, Loop Back Adapter.
Control Panel, Add Hardware
Next
Select the Yes radio button, Next
Select Add a new hardware device (last item in the list), Next
Select "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list" Next
Select "Network Adapters", Next
Select Microsoft, Microsoft Loopback Adapter
For the net use to work you need to have the Client for Microsoft Networks
and File and Print Sharing components installed and enabled on at least one
network connection.
