Nonags webmaster is trying to make an extra step for you to go through
so that you'll see advertising for NonagsPlus. To bypass it, change your
bookmark to go to the following:

Good idea Dude. Thanks.

If you can get enough people bypassing, then when his ad-revenues fall
to the point where he can't afford to run the site, he closes down and
we don't have to look there anymore. I never liked NoNags anyway. Too
much freeware there. Plus, bypassing is a great way to say "f*** you
very much" for all that you have done for the freeware community.

Good thinking John Boy... as usual. I guess that's why you're so
popular here and have so many friends.

talk about me, I say, 'Who are they? They're not God.'

I wouldn't mind the front page with the promotion of Nonagsplus so
much if there was a direct link to the standard site on the front
page, but the fastest way I can see to get to the free stuff for non-
members is to click on "mirrors" and then on "main site in USA".
Hardly intuitive, and likely to put off more people than posting a
direct link here.

I don't advocate bypassing but NoNags may want to reconsider the name of
their site if they are going to nag and prod every time someone wants to
download. There are other ways of advertising on their site than
nagging everytime a download takes place - exactly counter to the spirit
of their site name.

I really don't mind them advertising NonagsPlus, just don't like them
obfuscating the location of the listings.

Deal with it.

It's a freeware site. It's about freeware, not doles. Many have and still
do maintain freeware sites without the need for nags or anything else.
