You have a better chance of getting an answer from a Money expert here:

microsoft.public.money

(And I don't know the answer or I would certainly give it to you.)

Yes thats it.
Maybe you can help.
When in portfolio mode and I try to change options (ie, open, close, last,
market value, etc. I get the following error...
An error occurred on the server when processing the url please contact the
system administrator. Are you able to decipher all this? I can't. Any help
appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

It helps if you don't top and tail.

I am writing at the bottom!

I think that you mean MS (ie Microsoft) Money 2001.

I don't have MS Money active on this machine but I did have it on my
previous machine.

Given that the software is 5 years old, it is quite possible that the links
to the firms providing the information are out of date. Therefore I think
you would be best advised to get a more recent version.

MS Money is not an online package, only the links are - therefore only
someone with that package operating can answer your question.

There are 175,000 references to MS Money 2006 on Google.

See
http://financialsoft.about.com/od/microsoftmoneyreviews/bb/M07_Review.htm
which is self-explanatory.

For Microsoft Money support see http://www.microsoft.com/money/support.mspx

"Have a question? Find answers and get help for Money.

It's easy to get answers about Money. The following resources will help you
get the answers you need, and most are available online 24 hours a day, 7
days a week. Money provides in-product help options, plus online and phone
support."

And http://www.microsoft.com/money/support/support_manual.mspx for the MS
Money 2007 Online User's Guide.

http://www.microsoft.com/money/support/support_manual.mspx goes back to
2003.
